General Policy

NATEX aims to ensure customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly offer a return or exchange in accordance with the conditions outlined below.

All returns and exchanges are subject to verification and must comply with host-nation regulations, tax- and duty-free requirements, and supplier restrictions.

Proof of Purchase

  • A valid NATEX receipt is required for all returns and exchanges.
  • Returns without a receipt will not be accepted.

Return Timeframes

  • Standard merchandise: Returns or exchanges are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
  • Defective merchandise: Accepted within the applicable return window or handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty.

Condition of Merchandise

  • Returned items must be unused, unworn, and unaltered.
  • Returned items must be in original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and tags.
  • Returned items must be in resalable condition.

NATEX reserves the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged, unless defective at the time of purchase:

  • Alcohol and tobacco products
  • Food, beverages, and other consumable products
  • Cosmetics, skincare, fragrances and personal care items once opened
  • Jewelry items intended for piercing (including earrings)
  • In-ear audio devices (e.g., earphones) once opened
  • Discounted or Final Sale items
  • Customized or special-order items

Additional Conditions and Clarifications

  • Tobacco, alcohol, and consumable products are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable due to health regulations and tax- and duty-free compliance requirements.
  • In-ear audio devices may only be returned or exchanged if the packaging remains sealed.
  • Final Sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Customers are encouraged to confirm product selection prior to purchase, particularly for restricted categories.

Refund Method

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.
  • Cash purchases will be refunded in cash, subject to store cash limits.
  • Credit/debit card refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on the financial institution.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are permitted for the same item or an item of equal or greater value. Any price difference is payable by the customer.
  • If an exchange item is unavailable, a refund will be issued in accordance with this policy.

Tax & Duty-Free Compliance

  • All returns must comply with NATO SOFA provisions, applicable German laws, and relevant host-nation tax- and duty-free regulations.
  • Items purchased under VAT or duty exemption may be subject to additional verification.
  • Abuse of tax-free privileges may result in refusal of future transactions.

Warranty & Defective Items

  • Items covered by a manufacturer’s warranty will be handled in accordance with supplier warranty terms.
  • NATEX staff will assist customers with warranty documentation when applicable.
  • Physical damage, misuse, or normal wear and tear are not considered defects.

Right to Refuse Returns

  • NATEX reserves the right to limit, or refuse returns in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or policy violations.
  • NATEX reserves the right to modify this policy without prior notice in accordance with operational or regulatory requirements.
